“We’ve sold almost everything. People bought the products for the variety, quality and prices”, Victoria told us with pride.  Lorenza and Virginia committed to transferring their new knowledge to their companions.  The three artisans are part of the project “Access to and Improvement of the Economic Income of Quechua and Aymara Artisan Women in Puno”, funded by the European Union.

Exhibiters from the regions of Ayacucho, Arequipa, Puno, Moquegua, Tacna, Madre de Dios, Ica, Cusco and Apurímac also participated.

This year, the Fair Perú Mucho Gusto brought together over 35 thousand visitors, including local and international tourists, who learned about the culture and identity of the participating regions through artisan work and the great variety of Peruvian cuisine.
